Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidyalaya (MSMSV), Jaipur was promoted in 1984 by the Sawai Ram Singh Shilpa Kala Mandir Society, a trust set up by the Late His Highness Maharaja Sawai Man Singh. Set on 15 acres in the heart of Jaipur, the school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and offers classes from nursery to class XII.
The school’s mission is “to nurture the unique potential of younger learners and ignite their minds through enrichment and value based education in a creative and innovative frame work so that they emerge as responsible, thinking and sensitive global citizens, conscious of their obligations towards their common welfare.”
The school is set on a green space of 15 acres, hosting a wide assortment of plants and flowers. The school offers modern, technology-integrated classrooms, contemporary laboratories for psychology, mathematics, social science, geography, biology, chemistry, physics, biotechnology and language. A well-stocked library, multi-purpose hall and games hall are also on offer.
ICT is part of the curriculum from class I onwards with separate computer laboratories for junior and seniors.
The school also has an infirmary with a full time trained nurse.
MSMSV is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers nursery to class XII education. The school follows the CBSE mandated Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system which assesses scholastic and co-scholastic areas. The school uses technology to enhance the teaching-learning experience.
The primary section follows iDiscoveri’s XSEED curriculum. MSMV has received accreditation by the British Council for “development of international dimension in the school curriculum.”
Extracurricular:
A wide range of curricular activities are offered. The literary club, science club, commerce club, and environment club provide opportunities to explore different interests. Classes are also provided in art, music, dance, craft and yoga.
The Life Skills Programme equips students with various life skills. The school has a band. Students can also be a part of the NCC.
Students are also trained in rock-climbing, yoga, karate, cricket, athletics, tennis and hockey.

Students are admitted in pre-primary, class VII and class XI. The child should be three to four years on 31st March of the year in which admission is sought for the pre primary section. For class VII & XI, limited seats are available – these are announced through advertisements.
