The Maharashtra Class Owners’ Association (MCOA) is a non-profit organization uniting coaching class owners and educators in Maharashtra at its annual Teacher’s Felicitation Function that took place on September 17th, 2023, at the Sri Shanmukhananda Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Auditorium in Sion announced the formation of an NEP Task Force to integrate the National Education Policy (NEP) into the coaching class industry. The task force will collaborate with the Maharashtra Government’s Education Ministry to shape syllabi and implementation strategies. MCOA will cover the task force’s expenses in assisting the ministry.

Prajesh Trotsky, Vice-President of MCOA, highlighted the association’s plan to instill human values in students through coaching classes, aligning with NEP’s capacity-building skills. Upcoming initiatives discussed at the event included EduExpo Exhibitions, career and job fairs, workshops on generative AI for teaching, and understanding and handling Generation Z.

The event recognized outstanding individuals across different sections, and MCOA remains dedicated to addressing challenges and advocating for coaching class owners in the educational landscape.
