Maharashtra HSC Board Exams 2020: Class 12 board exam begins today

The Maharashtra HSC Board Exams 2020, which begins from today, February 18, 2020, for class 12 students will be conducted across 608 examination centres. Conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), it will start with the English paper and will be held from 11 am to 2 pm.

Overall, more than 14 lakh students are set to appear for the board exams and nearly three lakh students will give the English exam today. The exams will continue till March 18, 2020.

The officials from MSBSHSE confirmed that the entry to exam centres will be closed off 15 minutes prior to the exam time. The authorities are also making sure that no unfair means are used by students while giving the exams. To prevent cheating and malpractices, the board has deployed six flying squads and several sitting squads.

The Maharashtra board has also made its helpline number operational one day before the board exams, so that students can clear any queries regarding the examination procedure.

Meanwhile, the Class 10 Board Exams will commence from March 3.
