In a troubling turn of events reported from Bhiwandi town in Maharashtra’s Thane district, a distressing incident unfolded during a Class 10 exam. According to police accounts, three students allegedly assaulted their classmate after he refused to share his answer-sheet with them. The altercation occurred on Tuesday following the conclusion of the exam, resulting in the victim sustaining injuries that required medical attention. Subsequently, he was admitted to a local hospital for treatment.

The police elaborated that the victim’s reluctance to share his answer-sheet during the SSC exams had incensed the accused trio. Upon exiting the exam hall, the trio reportedly confronted and assaulted him, leading to stab wounds. The severity of the injuries necessitated hospitalization, though the victim was later discharged after receiving medical care.

Following the incident, a formal complaint was lodged against the three minors under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 324 at the Shanti Nagar police station in Bhiwandi. Such incidents underscore the importance of maintaining a safe and conducive environment for students during examinations, with authorities urged to take stringent action against perpetrators to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
