T.K. Chandra Mouli is director of Grafiprint Pvt. Ltd which runs the W.Q. Judge Press (estb.1952), Bangalore, one of the garden city’s oldest printing presses specialising in printing stationery, books and magazines, especially for education institutions. Moreover he is a multi-skilled polymath with a vast repertoire of skills spanning public speaking, graphology, theatre, pranic healing, story-telling and wine tasting, and also communications trainer and transformational coach who has mentored over 10,000 individuals countrywide.

History. A commerce graduate of Bangalore University with numerous certifications in print technology and management, Chandra Mouli began his career in 1985 at the familyowned W.Q. Judge Press. Since then over the past 35 years within its deceptively old world premises in Bangalore’s central business district, WQJ has transformed into the city’s most popular printing press with a clientele spread across India and the US, UK and Canada.
Simultaneously, Chandra Mouli pursued his diverse interests by signing up for several short-term study programmes. “Every birthday, I resolved to learn and develop a new skill. And that’s how over the years I developed capabilities in public speaking, communication and personality development training, theatre, graphology, pranic healing, wildlife, adventure sports and wine tasting,” says Chandra Mouli, a member of the Toastmasters International (358,000 members in 141 countries), a US-based non-profit that operates clubs worldwide to promote communication, public speaking and leadership skills
Direct talk. “My objective is to enable corporate professionals, teachers and students to develop verbal and written communication capability, body language, etiquette and public speaking skills. With college/ university students and especially business executives working from home, this is an opportunity for them to develop good communication skills. It will enhance the CVs of working professionals and employability of students in an uncertain economy,” says Chandra Mouli, a professional trainer certified by the Indian Academy of Training and Development (ITAD), Chennai.
Future plans. Despite prevailing gloom and pessimism, Chandra Mouli is confident about the future and predicts a 30 percent upsurge in business after the pandemic lockdown is lifted. “The Indian economy will experience a V-shape recovery. The focus on Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives will drive demand for indigenous goods and services, including printed products. I am also confident of an increasing number of professionals and students signing up for communication skills training to enhance their job prospects and employability,” says this indefatigable polymath.
