Mosaica International School, Hyderabad is a coeducational English medium international day school. Promoted by the US based Mosaica Education, which boasts charter schools in the United Kingdom, Dubai and India, the school offers the acclaimed Paragon curriculum which is proprietary to Mosaica Education. The curriculum is accredited by AdvancED – a non-profit, non-partisan US based organisation that conducts rigorous, external reviews of PreK-12 schools and school systems – and it focuses on developing students into independent learners who are able to solve problems, think critically and be creative in their approach.
The school campus hosts spacious classrooms, well-equipped science laboratories, well-stocked library and a spacious playground.
Pre-K curriculum (3 to 4 year olds) – Pre-K programme emphasises learning through sensory exploration and discovery in independent, small groups and whole group situations. It is designed to help students learn how to organise their time in purposeful and meaningful ways.
Kindergarten (5-6 year olds) and Grade I Curriculum (6-7 year olds) – In this programme children participate in writing and reading workshops daily to learn the importance of these skills in everyday life.In Grade I, students express their own ideas and consider others’ points of view when they talk with partners about the books they read.
Grade II curriculum (7-8 year olds) – In this programme children learn reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, solving mathematical problems, multiplication, two and three digit addition, fractions and more.
Grade III (8-9 year olds) – The students use skills to become more intentional in their thinking, reading, writing and problem-solving through this programme.
Grade IV (9-10 year olds) – This programme encourages children to engage in active exploration of the world – through story, literature, art, mathematical investigations, science experiences, field trips, discussions, music and ongoing questioning.
Grade V (10-11 year olds) – The fifth grade curriculum comprises activities, discussions, debates, experiences and written work that encourage each child to become independent, creative thinkers, readers, writers and problem-solvers.
Middle School and High School – Middle School offers thecore subjects comprising Mathematics, English, Science and Paragon Humanities. Students also engage in project work.
