According to a study conducted by Brainly, more than 50 percent students plan to spend their Diwali holidays trying to learn something new. For the research, over 1200 students from across Tier-II and Tier-III cities of the country participated. The report drew insights on what the young generation have in mind when it comes to what they would like to do on these upcoming holidays.
- Around 37.2% of the students prefer to utilize their Diwali holidays to prepare themselves for the upcoming semesters.
- Over 25% of students will be celebrating with their families.
- More than 22.5% said will be traveling with their families.
- Over 53.9% students would like to do activities involving research on different topics beyond their curriculum.
- Over 70.9% will be completing homework assignments given by schools/colleges.
- Over 55.7% of students believe that their parents will help them prepare for the upcoming semester.
Interestingly, some students are also looking to hone their skills and capabilities during these vacations. For instance, learning a new language, engaging in sports-driven skills, or practising arts, crafts, and cooking.
