Overview

Mother’s Global School, Delhi is a coeducational, English medium school promoted in 1984. MGS is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers classes from kindergarten to XII.

The objective of the school is to provide holistic education to stimulate “mind and body and inculcate discipline to build good character”. Its motto is ‘discipline, devotion and character’.

Campus

The junior and senior buildings are spacious, airy and feature well-lit classrooms and science laboratories well equipped with modern gadgets and instruments, specimens, models and charts.

MGS hosts three wi-fi enabled computer labs for pre-primary, primary and senior students, a music room, dance room, medical room and auditorium. The school library houses over 10000 books, periodicals, magazines, journals, biographies, and reference books.

Sports facilities include two basketball courts, one volley ball court, a cricket pitch and a playground for sports and games such as kho-kho, football and hand ball. MGS also provides transportation facility.

Academics

MGS is affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi and offers education from kindergarten to class XII.

In the primary and pre-primary levels emphasis is placed on music, dance, story time, show and tell, free play, nature walk and learning through play.

In primary classes the focus is on development of five skills — communicative skills, maths skills, scientific skills, creative skills and social skills.

In middle school the emphasis on development of creative and logical thinking through project presentations.

In secondary school the curriculum encourages high order thinking (HOT), reasoning, analytical and logical application skills.

Senior secondary classes offer non-medical streams — computer science, commerce and humanities. 

Extracurricular activities 

Apart from academics MGS offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, which include art and craft, performing arts, language club, essay writing, singing, painting, sketching, workshops, debates, photography, music and drama. The school promotes activity clubs such as artisians club, astronomy club, beats and rhythm club, disaster management club, melody club, science club and quiz know n grow club.

Admission

The school admits students from pre-primary to class IX. 

Admission procedure in class pre-primary to IX is as follows- 

• Students aged four plus year are eligible for admissions in pre-primary classes.
• Parents should submit the application on a plain paper at the school reception. 

At the time of registration following documents should be submitted-

Birth certificate of the child

Medical certificate of the child (for the children with the special needs)

Qualification documents of father and mother of sec/sr. sec, graduation/post graduation etc.

Proof of residence

Proof of sibling (wherever applicable)

Proof of alumni (wherever applicable)

Certificate of SC/ST/OBC (if applicable)

Undertaking that distance shown in the form from school to residence is correct.

Proof of interstate transferable job

 Affidavit that first born child is girl

Achievement

MGS has many national and international achievements: 

1. The school secured rank 67 in ISO level-2 (International Science Olympiad) examination.
2. MGS is winner of the Gobar Times Green School Award awarded by the Centre for Science and Environment.

Accommodation

Being a day school, it does not provide accommodation facility.
