Mount Carmel School, Anand Niketan, New Delhi is a coeducational day cum boarding school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was started on July 10, 1972 with 12 children. Today, the school boasts around 2500 students and staff strength of 150 and offers schooling from nursery through class XII. Mount Carmel School is a Christian minority institution run by Mount Carmel School Society.
The campus facilities include well equipped labs for biology, biotechnology, chemistry, home science, geography and math. There are separate computer labs for the junior and senior school with 24 hours internet access and the library features a huge collection of CD’s and video-cassettes. The school also houses a canteen, a three bed clinic and a bookshop for the convenience of parents.
Sports infrastructure includes two basketball courts, two volley ball courts, two badminton courts and six tables for table tennis.
The school follows the CBSE syllabus. Sanskrit, French and of late Spanish are offered as third language options in classes IX and X; students can opt between Hindi, Sanskrit and French as second language.

Mount Carmel School also offers a special education program called ‘Adult Literacy Program’ wherein students from class XI visit Kanak Durga slum dwellers thrice each week to educate the slum children.
The school offers a girls’ hostel that accommodates 80 students.
