Mumbai student tops GRE with a hundred percent score

A 22 year old student of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology, Ashwini Nene, has topped the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) this year. The result of this international examination for graduate education was announced recently by Educational Testing Services (ETS), the organising institute for the GRE.

Ashwini is one of the few students globally to have obtained a 100 percent score in the GRE. Last year, Ashwini signed up for the GRE coaching programme with KIC Education, a leading educational coaching and admissions consulting institute in India.

The Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) is a standardized test that is an admissions requirement for most graduate schools in the US and selected other countries. Created and administered by ETS, the exam aims to measure verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, analytical writing and critical thinking skills that are not related to any specific field of study. The exam provides universities with a common benchmark to compare students from across the world.

With more than 15 years of experience coaching for the SAT, GRE, GMAT and other standardized tests, KIC Education is second to none when it comes to preparing students for these tests and helping them secure admissions in top international universities including Harvard University, Stanford University, Cornell University, University of Pennsylvania, to name a few.
