The initiative aimed ambitiously to cultivate 100,000 trees through a mango seed drive, benefiting local farmers and enhancing greenery. Students, teachers, and administrators enthusiastically united, collecting over 35,000 mango seeds donated to Mr. Mukherjee’s organization.
Beyond seed collection, the project provided invaluable hands-on learning opportunities about biodiversity, climate change mitigation, and ecological balance. It instilled in students a profound sense of environmental stewardship and a dedication to creating a sustainable future.
This initiative marked a significant milestone in Navrachana Vidyani’s history, launching its Silver Jubilee celebrations with a resounding call for local action and global impact. It exemplifies our belief in ‘small steps, big impacts,’ showcasing how collective efforts can drive meaningful change.
The initiative garnered attention from local media channels like VNM and RED FM 93.5, serving as a beacon of inspiration for ongoing initiatives within and beyond our school community.
