NIIMS gets NMC approval for 150 MBBS seats for academic session 2020-21

The medical education sector of Noida has received a major boost of  150 MBBS seats as the national medical commission has recognised and given their approval to the new Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences (NIIMS), Greater Noida.
 
NIIMS has started accepting fresh batch of MBBS students for the coming academic session of 2020 -2021. 
 
Located strategically, the institute is a unit of Noida International University, which offers to fill a huge gap in medical education landscape of the knowledge hub Noida- Greater Noida as the region has witnessed a dearth of recognised medical college for a long time. 
 
“NIIMS as an institution is totally dedicated to the cause of bracing up the healthcare system in India. To achieve this feat NIIMS provides breeding ground to the aspiring practitioners in its large 75-acre lush green campus which is equipped with state of art laboratories designed as per the revised curriculum of NMC, modern classroom theatres with audiovisual technology, advanced e-library and integrated knowledge resource centre along with on-campus hostel & cafeteria. 
 
Recently NIIMS achieved another milestone by setting up a NABL certified COVID testing laboratory within in its premises in the unprecedented pandemic times to expand testing accessibility. 
 
Currently, the NEET counselling is underway and to facilitate registration applicants can visit www.niims.edu.in and register themselves for NIIMS alongside scheduling campus visits.
