The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 was released by the Ministry of Education on Monday. NIRF rankings is adopted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to rank institutions of higher education in India. The framework was approved by the ministry (former called) Ministry of Human Resource Development and officially launched in 2015.
This year, IIT Madras has topped the overall list of institutes in the country followed by the Indian Institute of Science and Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
