Students from NMIMS Indore once again created a name for themselves at the Smart India Hackathon by finishing among the top 5 teams. Students in their third year of study Agyeya Jha, Kanishka Lohar, Anshi Jain, Harsh Jain, Jahnavi Plaiwal, and Anirudha Mahajan presented their project, “CYBER ARC – DEFENSIVE ARC OF CYBER WORLD.”The Smart India Hackathon is a national programme that supports student problem-solving abilities and technical innovation. Multiple rounds of competition were held, starting with college-level screening, continuing with a national competition, and concluding with a match between the top 5 teams.
CYBER ARC – DEFENSIVE ARC OF CYBER WORLD is a project aimed at educating children about cyber hygiene. It includes antivirus and firewall protection, daily phone/PC usage summaries, spam message alerts, parental control, and email phishing attack detection. The project also features an Animated theme based on interactive short videos and social media tracking, and offers a subscription model for revenue and a security consulting model for services.
