The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Fit India Movement have joined hands to help students sitting at home to workout and remain fit and healthy with their #FitIndiaActiveDay series. They are organising online live classes by fitness and health experts from across the country.
Experts such as Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Aliya Imran and Pooja Makhija are streaming their content live on Fit India Movement YouTube channel. The series began on April 15 and one can access to the videos by subscribing to the Fit India Movement YouTube channel. The videos are streamed live at 9.30 am every day and each session is about 40 minutes.
The students can also access these videos on the Facebook and Instagram pages of Fit India Movement, @FitIndiaOff. Celebrity child nutritionists has conducted a session on eating right and given tips on healthy and tasty food at home. Actor and fitness expert Shilpa Shetty Kundra said as the students are all at home due to the Coronavirus pandemic, they can channelise their energy into these workouts and start their day with fitness. Even if the students miss the live sessions, they can still access the videos on the YouTube channel.
