Amity International School, Sector 46, Gurugram, is hosting the CBSE National Science Exhibition from January 30 to February 1, 2025. The three-day event features projects, models, and exhibits by students, highlighting their creativity and scientific curiosity. The theme, Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future, includes projects across categories such as Food Health and Hygiene, Transport and Communication, Natural Farming, Disaster Management, Mathematical Modelling, Waste Management, and Resource Management. A total of 429 schools from across India are participating, with 207 projects in the junior category (Classes 6-8) and 222 in the senior category (Classes 9-11).

Inaugurating the event, CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh (IAS) praised the students’ work, emphasizing the importance of hands-on learning to foster scientific innovation. He highlighted the role of early discoveries, like fire and the wheel, in shaping human progress and encouraged students to develop innovations that benefit society.

Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President of Amity Education Group, stressed the need for students to contribute to India’s scientific advancement. Dr. Amita Chauhan, Chairperson of Amity Group of Schools, commended CBSE’s pedagogical approach for nurturing research and critical thinking, calling the exhibition a testament to students’ problem-solving skills.

Dr. Arti Chopra, Principal of Amity International School, welcomed guests and highlighted the exhibition’s role in giving students a platform to showcase their knowledge and creativity.

The event was attended by CBSE officials and a panel of experts, including Dr. Biswajit Saha, Director (Skill Education), and scientists from institutions like Delhi University, the Department of Science & Technology, and Amity University.
