PG Garodia School celebrates its Golden Jubilee year

November 2, 2018

PG Garodia School is witnessing a colourful calendar this academic year with 2018-19 being its Golden Jubilee year. The year is marked by various fests and monthly events: the latest being a mega event – Chokhi Dhani – the Art Fest.

The school auditorium wore a festive look on the occasion. In keeping with with the theme, a mock ‘Chokhi Dhani’ was also created. The event provided a unique platform for the students to showcase their talents and ingenuity. The students doused in the spirit of art with activities such as pottery making, lac bangle making, diya making, vegetable printing, origami and lantern making. The event also featured a live musical performance of Ravanahatha, a musical instrument traditionally played in Rajasthan. The students performed the Rajasthani folk dance ‘Ghoomar’ – twirling and swirling in colourful Rajasthani costumes. The Puppet Show enthralled all, from the tiniest student to the 10th graders. The event also included vibrant art work on display by the senior students of the school.

Food is an integral part of any celebration. Mouth watering delicacies of Rajasthan was a crowd puller. The proceeds from this will go to charity on behalf of the school.

The Garodia Group of Institutions includes PG Garodia School – a leading ICSE school, Garodia International Centre for Learning Mumbai (GICLM) – a leading international school, Beehive pre-school, One World International Sports Centre and Garodia Conservatoire.
