Pondicherry Central University on October 26 inked memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with Michel de Montaigne University Bordeaux 3, France and French Institute of Pondicherry for academic cooperation. University registrar S. Loganathan, Michel de Montaigne University vice president Dr. Christian Bouquet and director of French Institute in Pondicherry, Dr. Pierre Grard signed and exchanged documents covering higher education and research and also facilitate academic cooperation in arts, humanities, languages and human and social sciences, according to official sources.
The MoUs would also pave way for exchange of teachers and research scholars among the three institutions, besides exchange of students. Vice chancellor of Pondicherry University J.A.K Tareen was among those present on the occasion.
