PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore is an ISO 9001:2000 certified autonomous, government aided, private engineering college in Coimbatore, India affiliated with the Anna University, offering a total of 48 full time and part time programs in science, engineering and management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels under the 11 engineering and technology, computer applications, management sciences, basic sciences and humanities departments. It boasts a student strength of 8000 with 15 engineering and technology departments beside the computer application, management sciences and basic sciences.
Founded in 1951, the PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore is one of the many educational institutions managed by PSG and Sons Charitable Trust, founded by PS Govindaswamy Naidu. The founder principal of this college was Dr. G.R. Damodaran. In order to achieve their objective of providing industrial training to local youth, the founders decided to set up the college in the same campus as the PSG Industrial Institute. The unique feature of this college is its close collaboration with the industry.
The PSG College of Technology is situated about 8 km from Coimbatore railway station and 5 kilometer from the airport. It is a residential institution which offers accommodation to nearly 4000 students. There are seven hostels for boys and two hostels for girls. PSG Tech library is one of the best equipped in terms of the number of books and journals. Other facilities include an open air stadium, laboratories, computers with internet connection, playground, clubs and organizations.

Selection Process- Admission to B.E/B.Tech. courses is done through the single window counseling by the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Chennai based on the total marks obtained in class XII mathematics, physics and chemistry.

Selection Process: For postgraduate courses such as M.B.A., M.C.A., M.E., M.Tech., students must clear the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by Anna University, Chennai each year. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) scores are also accepted for admission to M.E./M.Tech. courses.
Eligibility- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in any relevant discipline (5% relaxation for SC/ST applicants from Tamil Nadu).
