On November 12, Smartur.com, the Hyderabad based digital education solutions company, has announced its Children’s Day Bonanza offer for students. Under this limited period offer (from November 14 to 16, 2014), students can register for ‘Smartur.com National Proficiency Test (SNPT)’ free of cost on www.smartur.com. This is the first time that Smartur.com has come out with a special offer of this kind.
Starting this year, students of classes I to X can test themselves in the science modules along with the mathematics module which they have used to test themselves last year. The test is loaded with amazing rewards to motivate students to give their best. Apple iPad, Lenovo Laptop, Microsoft Kinect and a host of tablets, cameras and other alluring awards await the enthusiastic ones.
Parents of children, who take these tests, will now additionally benefit with access to hi-level analytics that can help them identify very specific topics or sub-topics that their children need to focus or pay attention to – based on how they perform on these tests.
Last year, Smartur.com launched the ‘Smartur.com Maths Proficiency Test (SMPT)’ – the largest online maths contest in India – a proficiency test based on cutting edge automated testing methodology and covers Maths topics in great depth. This year, Smartur.com has introduced the Science proficiency module using similar technology, thereby helping students to test themselves on Science proficiency too.
These tests have been designed after extensive research on curriculum and behavioral aspects to make learning relevant, contextual and interesting. Commenting on the success of the earlier edition of the test, Neeraj Jewalkar, founder & CEO of Smartur.com said, “Last year we have had over 5 million questions answered by almost 10,000 students from 18 states in the country – this is testimony to the relevance and need for such initiatives that help make learning interesting and effective for students and give parents and teachers in-depth understanding of each student’s strengths and weaknesses, actionable insights into areas of improvement and visible clarity on progress achieved”.
The key features of this online tool are instant real-time scoring and ranking, detailed performance reports and suggestions for improvements to parents by emails, SMS alerts on targets and progress, preparatory worksheets with detailed solutions and awesome rewards for top rankers.
