For decades, Indian school education has prioritised left-brain development, placing a strong emphasis on logical and analytical thinking. However, educators and experts are now highlighting the growing importance of right-brain development, which fosters creativity, intuition, spatial intelligence, emotional intelligence, and holistic thinking—skills essential in today’s rapidly changing world.
Recognising this shift, SRGS has introduced a dedicated Right Brain Development curriculum from Nursery (3+ years) to Grade I (6+ years). The programme includes “deep practice” techniques to strengthen right-brain circuits, such as signing one’s name in varied ways, engaging in two-way written conversations with oneself, and learning unfamiliar movements through dance or yoga.

The curriculum aims to develop essential 21st-century skills by nurturing emotional and spatial intelligence alongside creativity. Activities in Prep and Grade I are thoughtfully designed to make learning experiential and intuitive.
With this innovative initiative, SRGS is paving the way for a more balanced, future-ready approach to early childhood education.
