RSS Chief says teaching children names of private parts an attack by Leftists

September 18, 2023

Mohan Bhagwat, the chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), spoke at the launch event of the Marathi book “Jagala Pokharnari Davi Walvi” (World-Weakening Leftist Termites) in Pune. During his address, Bhagwat criticized what he viewed as an intrusion of leftist ideologies in education.

He highlighted an incident in a Gujarat school where teachers were instructed to assess whether KG-2 students were aware of the names of their private body parts, considering it an encroachment by the leftist ecosystem. Bhagwat argued that leftists are not just adversaries of Hindus or India but pose a challenge to the entire global community.

He also cited instances in Western countries where he perceived leftist influence, such as discouraging discussions about gender in schools. Bhagwat expressed concerns about the impact of these ideologies on culture and society, emphasizing the need for vigilance and cultural preservation.

Bhagwat called for efforts to counteract the influence of the leftist ecosystem and believed that India has a role to play in addressing these global challenges. He emphasized the importance of clarifying misunderstandings created by leftists and suggested translating the book into Hindi and English for wider dissemination.
