Adding one more feather to its luxuriant cap, SP Jain London School of Management (SPJ London) has been officially authorised by the Office for Students (OfS), UK, to award degrees, becoming the first higher education institute of Indian origin to achieve this distinction.
OfS has this enabled the institution to confer degrees without partnering with an institution in the UK.
OfS is the independent regulator for higher education in England and permission to award degrees has been given to only four higher education providers, all UK-based institutions, in the last three years.
SPJ London’s latest achievement strengthens its position as a leading business school in the UK, empowered to create a cutting-edge practical curriculum, engage distinguished faculty, and award UK degrees upon program completion.
“This is a truly significant milestone for SPJ London,” said Mr. Nitish Jain, Founder & President of the SP Jain Group which operates SPJ London. “We are proud to be the first Indian-origin institution to achieve this recognition, and we remain dedicated to nurturing future business leaders and empowering them to make a positive impact in the world.”
Noted for offering unique programs and opportunities to multi-city undergraduate and postgraduates, SPJ London also announced a new exchange and articulation agreement with its top-ranked sister concern,SP Jain School of Global Management (SP Jain Global ) whereby students from both institutions will be able to study in some of the world’s leading cities, including London.
Under the agreement, SPJ London students will get the opportunity to travel to SP Jain Global campuses in Dubai, Singapore, Sydney, and Mumbai. Likewise, starting September 2023, students from SP Jain Global can enrol for a term or transfer to SPJ London.
“The exchange and articulation agreement between SPJ London and SP Jain Global further enriches the educational experience for our students,” Nitish Jain said, adding, “This collaboration underscores our commitment to fostering a global mindset and equipping students with the skills and knowledge required to excel in an interconnected world.”
