According to an official release on May 3, SP Jain Global’s BBA cohort has enjoyed a fabulous placement season with placements in countries such as Australia, India, Singapore, Argentina, Brazil, USA, Dubai and Germany. The students have been placed in companies such as Bloomberg, JPMorganChase, Citibank, Samsung, Kotak, KPMG, Heinz, Four Seasons, Ogilvy, Mather among others.
“The average salary for the cohort has been INR 25 lakh per annum, which is exceedingly good for graduate level,” says Amit Dasgupta, Campus Head Mumbai.
“Our tri-city BBA programme is crafted with the firm belief that campuses can no longer be cocoons but an extension of the external space the students inhabit; we have students from 30 nationalities studying across our campuses,” he adds.
SP Jain Global’s BBA programme is a uniquely crafted, four-year programme for undergraduates. The students will study at campuses in three dynamic cities – the first year in Mumbai/Singapore, followed by second year in Dubai and third & fourth year in Sydney respectively. Studying, living, and interacting with corporations in three cities exposes students first-hand to different business environments and cultures, enhancing experiential learning. Candidates from China, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, USA etc; have found representation in the programme thereby making the learning truly global.
Key features of the BBA programme include:
Student Board Rooms: In a VUCA world, SP Jain Global engages students in ‘study groups’ called Board Rooms. Here, real time problems are discussed to enable decision making through peer learning.
Blended Learning: Yes, a lot of learning has gone online, but skills like decision-making and problem solving are best taught F2F(face to face). Hence, adaptive online learning systems are blended with F2F to deliver an advanced pedagogy.
Simulation Labs: Complex business situations call for out advanced business simulation labs, where students are trained in solution-oriented thinking.
Admissions are open for the 2016-2020 cohort. Road shows are being conducted across the country for the same.
