Sainik School, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh is an English-medium residential school for boys affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Sited amidst verdant surroundings in the Civil lines locality of Rewa, it is one of the 24 Sainik schools in India. The school is governed by the Ministry of Defence and prepares students for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA). Founded in 1962, the prime motto of the school is ‘Vidyaiv Balam’ meaning knowledge is power implying that everything can be attained through knowledge.
Spread over 274 acres, Sainik School, Rewa hosts a well stocked library which houses a large variety of educational magazines and journals. The students can avail internet facility too. The school also arranges for annual training camps and special summer camps for senior cadets.
Physical training is also given importance including obstacle run and cross country run courses. Coaching classes for such courses are conducted by qualified physical training instructors allotted from the Indian Army.
The school also promotes major games such as hockey, chess, cricket, badminton, baseball, volleyball and handball.
Cadets of classes VIII to XII are taught 0.22 bore rifle shooting, 0.177 bore air rifle and pistol shooting as part of their NCC training activities.

All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination for admission in 24 Sainik Schools are conducted in the different centres spread across the country under the aegis of Ministry of Defence.
The entrance exam for admission in Sainik School, Rewa is held at Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Rewa centres in Madhya Pradesh during the month of January.
Students can apply for admission to classes VI and class IX. Admission is based on merit, performance in the interview at Sainik School, Rewa and a medical assessment at Military Hospital Jabalpur.
