The Satyan Fellowship Programme is an immersive experience designed to equip aspiring educators/fellows with the skills to excel in today’s classrooms. Educators/Fellows gain first hand exposure to Sat Paul Mittal School’s innovative teaching and learning practices through real-time school experiences. This programme allows Educators/fellows to develop a profound understanding of effective teaching strategies and classroom dynamics.
“When we were planning the programme, the aim was to give a wholesome environment to a fellow to experience the ethos and experience the processes and practices of our school. It aimed to provide first-hand knowledge of various educational procedures and conformity with Sat Paul Mittal School teacher standards,” said Bhupinder Gogia, Principal, Sat Paul Mittal School.
To ultimately be chosen as SFP fellows, candidates must successfully complete a rigorous selection procedure which includes subject competency test, psychometric test, Group Discussion and Interview round. The Satyan Fellowship Programme empowers talented individuals to launch fulfilling careers in education Through a competitive stipend, the programme fosters a strong track record of successful graduates securing positions at Sat Paul Mittal School and other good schools upon completion.

Through ensuring high-quality instruction, enhanced pedagogical skills, including instructional strategies, classroom management techniques, assessment methods, and differentiated instruction to providing the knowledge and tools to effectively engage students, to create a conducive learning environment ,the programme boasts of a systematic , cohesive and rigorous training schedule. Another USP of the programme is regular reflection and feedback sessions from the fellows which help them to map their own trajectory of improvement

In the years 2022–2023, the Satyan Fellowship Programme was able to cultivate in four fellows – the qualities of leadership, creativity, teamwork, empathy, and adaptability to any institutional culture. The school is in its third year of the programme and has achieved tremendous response from educators all over Punjab. Fulfilling the aspirations of NEP 2020, the school strives to promote the creation of platforms, networks, and communities of practice where teachers can share innovative pedagogical approaches, effective teaching methods, and successful classroom strategies. The school is committed to create a pool of resources and trained educators to enhance the professionalism, effectiveness, and overall quality of the teaching workforce in India.
