The SelaQui International School (SIS) is a fully residential co-educational school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, offering high-quality schooling to students from class V through class XII. Sited on a 50-acre campus in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, it was promoted in 2000 by Om Pathak, a former civil servant and incumbent vice-chancellor of the DPS Ghaziabad Society. According to a school spokesperson “The school offers holistic secondary education which encourages learning by inquiry, exploration and experience and through mastering latest ICT (information communication technologies). The goal is to enable students to cope with life in its crests and troughs and strive for success, unbowed by failure.”
The 52-acre campus provides an ideal blend of modern infrastructure and natural beauty of the hills. Classrooms are spacious, ergonomically designed and fully equipped with learning aids for specific subjects in addition to video screens, LCD projectors and networked computer terminals. A rich digital library of 350 resources (music and educational CDs and DVDs, encyclopaedias and documentaries) supplements a conventional library with 5,000 volumes and 10 journal subscriptions
The campus also houses a resource centre, a residence block for faculty and other staff, administrative offices, dormitories, common rooms and the central dining hall.

Registrations begin in the month of October in the preceding year. The new session begins in the month of April. The admission process starts when the duly filled registration form is received by the school and an entrance test is subsequently scheduled. Online tests can be arranged for students residing outside India upon written request of the parent. Admission is granted on the basis of performance in the entrance test, the previous year’s result and an interview with the headmaster. Once admission is offered to a candidate, it may be confirmed by depositing the requisite fee at the school office.
