With CAT 2018 results scheduled to be announced on January 7, 2019, Shiksha.com – a part of New Delhi headquartered Info Edge Limited and one of India’s leading career and college selection website for students – has launched one of the first ever IIM & non IIM call predictors featuring over 250 colleges across India for MBA aspirants.
In 2018, there were about 1.5 lakh CAT takers, who will now start filling applications for the colleges based on their performance. The newly launched tool by Shiksha will help students to shortlist which colleges (IIM & non IIM) they might get a seat in based on their CAT scores and can focus on preparing for the qualitative round.
Shiksha’s IIM & non IIM call predictor asks a user to enter their personal details, academic details, work experience, CAT score (expected or actual CAT score) and individual percentile of all the three sections, overall score and overall percentile to predict their eligibility and chances of getting a call from the list of over 250 IIMs and non IIMs.
Commenting on the launch, Vivek Jain, chief business officer, Shiksha.com says, “This is the first time we have launched IIM & Non IIM Call Predictor, and we are very excited about it. We are one of the first ever online platforms to show results from 250+IIM and Non IIM colleges. We would appreciate feedback and inputs from the users so that we can make it more suitable for students. CAT results will come out in few days and we believe our integrated and state-of-the-art tool will help CAT takers in identifying possible colleges that they can get through with their achieved scores and help them save time and money. We wish good luck to all the CAT students.”
Shiksha has launched IIM & non IIM call predictor 2018 integrating results based on the scores and profile of 2017 call-getters. Besides cut-off details of the college, it also shows review rating of the college, duration of courses and course fees. In case of similar colleges’ results, results are further sorted on the basis of review rating of the college. For non-IIMs, there is a shortlist button on the page, which will help students get more information about the college.
There are numerous socio-economic factors that influence the college selection decision of a student. With IIM & non IIM call predictor, candidates can take a quick decision on which colleges they should apply based on their CAT score.
