Sania Mirza MasterClass

Mumbai, August 4.

The Mumbai-based Leadership Boulevard Pvt. Ltd (LEAD), which has partnered with over 2,000 K-12 schools countrywide to raise teaching-learning standards, launched its second online MasterClass with tennis star Sania Mirza for over 800,000 students of its partner schools. In the online programme, Mirza exhorted students to adopt healthy lifestyles through fitness and yoga programmes to counter limited physical activity and anxiety during the pandemic era.

“The pandemic should not come in the way of pursuit of our dreams. Fitness and yoga is a great way for children to build physical and mental strength. In the present context, it is important that schools provide these opportunities to students,” said Mirza, speaking on the occasion.

Added Sumeet Mehta, co-founder of the company: “Our mission is to make holistic education accessible and affordable to every child. Where would children otherwise have a chance to attend live classes from Chetan Bhagat or Sania Mirza? LEAD brings this to them because we believe that children from small towns, if given access and opportunity, can shine as bright as students from metros.
