On September 4, the multi-campus SP Jain School of Global Management (SP Jain Global) announced the successful campus placement for its flagship Global MBA programme. At INR 22.52 lakh, the Class of 2017 witnessed a 14 percent increase in average starting salaries as compared to the previous batch’s INR 16.50 lakh, placing SP Jain Global among the top four B-schools of Indian-origin in terms of graduate outcomes.
Top recruiters this season include multinationals from across the country and across the world (specifically, Southeast Asia, Europe and the Middle East) such as TESCO, Hewlett Packard, DELL, Salesforce, Cummins, Henkel, Dunia Finance, Xchanging, JDA, Salesforce, Cummins, Societe Generale, Tata Trent and Tech Mahindra. Consulting sector, followed by the IT and Logistics sectors, were the biggest recruiters of the season. The highest offer made this year was INR 48 lakh.
Dr. Indu Niranjan, dean of SP Jain’s Postgraduate Programmes, attributes this success to the school’s unique tri-city educational model that has proven to transform its students from ordinary graduates to 21st century global business leaders. “At SP Jain, we believe that our success is measured by the impact of our graduates in the business world. Our alumni are today, leading cross-cultural teams, growing family businesses, developing digital initiatives, incubating new ideas, working with local governments, participating in community initiatives, consulting at Fortune 500 companies and traveling across the globe. They have done extremely well in the global workplace and that is why companies believe in our model,” she adds.
Graduates of the school’s Global MBA programme have been performing consistently well even after placements. In 2015, Forbes and The Economist ranked the school’s Global MBA among the world’s top 10 and top 100 MBAs respectively. The Economist MBA rankings, along with Financial Times and Forbes, are the most prestigious MBA rankings in the world, and SP Jain is the only school of Indian-origin to be ranked by all three.
With campuses in Dubai, Singapore, Sydney and Mumbai, S P Jain School of Global Management is a business school of Indian origin that offers an Australian degree. Their full-time MBA and Global MBA programmes have significant recognition as evinced through global rankings.
