SP Robotic Works

Chennai and Bangalore based Coding and Robotics start-up, SP Robotic Works announces 50 scholarships worth INR 5 lakh under the banner #codelikeaqueen. It is aimed to bring out the innate qualities of a girl child to solve real-life problems through tech and push them in the fields of advanced technology like Coding, Robotics, Machine Learning, AI etc., at an early age.

The Scholarship will provide early exposure to the selected ‘coding queens’ and try to bridge the massive dearth of the skilled tech workforce in the tech industry. This scholarship will provide the selected 50 candidates with the right exposure to advanced technology at the right time, encouraging them to explore the fields of Coding, Robotics, Machine Learning, AI etc. as their career and fulfil the increasing demand gap of skilled workforce in the industry.

“Our mission with this scholarship is not to immediately make the selected coding queens ready for tech jobs but to bridge the increasing demand gap of the industry. We also aim to highlight the difference in the ratio of men in tech to women In tech and curb this difference through encouraging girls to opt for advance technology careers in the future by providing early exposure” said Sneha Priya, Co-Founder and CEO at SP Robotic Works.

Recently, SP Robotic Works has also organized one of India’s biggest Coding and Robotics challenge called NCRC where the top 100 Awardees were provided with the Young Tech CEO Program held at IIT Madras Research Park and 14 finalists between the age-group of 7-16 won prizes worth INR 50 Lakhs along with scholarships by Study Malaysia and a fully sponsored stay at Sterling Holiday Resorts, and Tourism Malaysia.
