Spring Dale Senior School, Amritsar is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Founded in 1981 by Surinder Singh Sandhu, the school boasts 283 faculty members and 4056 students from class I through XII.
Spring Dale Senior School aims to provide a sturdy foundation for its students to enable them to develop into responsible and secular members of the society. The school aims to nurture multi-talented, responsible global citizens who will carry with them a strong sense of their identity and a willingness to see the common threads which run through lives, when they graduate from the school.
The 4.7 acre school campus hosts a well stocked library, futuristic ICT computer labs with ISDN facility and more than 150 networked computers, three AV labs, robotics lab, mathematics lab, space lab, a Science Park, spacious classrooms equipped with interactive boards, computers and LCD projectors, medical infirmary, dance rooms and music rooms.
The sports infrastructure includes a swimming pool, gymnasium, shooting range, facilities for rock climbing, judo, yoga and indoor games facility for table tennis, badminton and chess.
Following the CBSE curriculum, the school integrates the principle of Multiple Intelligences into its curriculum along with four main learning styles i.e. visual, auditory, read/write and kinesthetic (VARK). The curriculum focuses on stimulating the child to explore his/her world for better learning. Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) and Alternate Evaluation System keep children of diverse range of abilities in a learning mode.
Spring Dales Senior School, Amritsar also follows the policy of ‘Emergent Curriculum’, where curriculum emerges while exploring what is socially relevant and intellectually engaging; such a curriculum is based on interest of children, teachers, parents and society.

The international centre has four components which include Centre for Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), Centre for Advanced Placement Exams (AP), Counseling for International Universities and Center for Summer Schools assistance and Exchange Programmes.

Spring Dale Senior School, Amritsar boasts various community programs including Umeed – that helps children of drug addicts in Maqboolpura area recover from the ravages of drug addiction and find a respectable place for themselves in the society.
The school has also initiated various educational programs like Manganiyar Lok Sangeet Sansthan that trains Manganiyar children in music and takes forward their melodic legacy, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Memorial Computer Education Centre at the Narli village, Tarn Taran district, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Hockey Academy to promote hockey, the children here are trained by national and international level coaches, the school also provides free books, stationery and study material to them, the Baba Bhila Singh Hockey Academy aims at promoting hockey as a popular sport among the rural youth and is open to both girls and boys aspiring to master the sport.
