Springdales Public School is a co-educational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It was established in 1955 by Rajni Kumar, the chairperson of Springdales Education Society and her late husband Yudishter Kumar, barrister at law and senior advocate of the Supreme Court. It started as a kindergarten and nursery school; today it boasts of three campuses at major locations in New Delhi and another taking shape in Jaipur. The Kumars in 1956 set up the Patel Education Society, a charitable and educational trust to run the school. Ever since, the school was renamed as Springdales Education Society.
The 10-acre campus of Springdales School includes academic and co-curricular facilities comprising an auditorium with state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities and a seating capacity of 350 students. There are smart classrooms equipped with computers, LCDs and audio-visual facilities allowing teachers to teach using a wide variety of technology. In addition, the school also has laboratories ranging from chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics, computer science, home science, geography and psychology for different levels. It has two well-equipped computerised libraries with a large stock of books, magazines and journals.
Co-curricular facilities include art, dance and music rooms. Several courts are provided for basketball, badminton, grounds for football, cricket, volleyball and there is also a skating rink and open grounds for martial arts.
There is a medical room with a trained doctor and nurse, and a lift has been installed to help children with physical disabilities since the building has four floors.
The school teaches students from nursery to class XII. The institution is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Every year, students take the AISSE and AISSCE exams for class X and XII respectively.

Admissions begin from nursery where there is no interviewing or screening of children or their parents. The whole process is fair, rational, non-discriminatory, transparent and child-friendly. Admission is based on the information given and will have to be backed by authentic proofs with documents attached to the form when submitted. Information regarding parents’ professions and educational qualifications will not form a part of the admission criteria. It will be used only for school data processing.
If in admission for the general category there is a tie in the points for the last seats to be allotted there will be random selection in the form of a draw of lots to finalise these seats.
The list of selected and non-selected candidates will be placed on the school website showing the points secured.
