St. Anne’s High School, Pune is an English medium school established in 1860. One of the oldest girls’ convent schools in Pune, it is situated in the ‘Camp’ area of the city and offers classes from nursery to class X and is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and offers its Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam at the end of class X.
St. Anne’s High School was founded by the Provincial Society of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary, Pune, and is a Christian minority institution.
Currently the school enrolls 2,200 students mentored by 67 staff members. It celebrated its 150th year in the year 2009. In June 1960, the Convent of Jesus and Mary was merged with St. Anne’s High School. The Convent of Jesus and Mary has set up a private kindergarten functioning from the same site, but it has no official link to the school.
St. Anne’s High School, Pune is sited on Convent Street in the Pune Camp area. The school is divided into two sections, the primary school section that comprises of classes I-IV, and the secondary school section offering classes V-X.
The school has a spacious playground for outdoor games and well-stocked library for its students, in addition to science labs.

Marathi is taught as a second language and Hindi as a third language.

Extracurricular
St. Anne’s offers training in computers, public speech, music, and dance. Science exhibitions are held regularly as are activities organized by the P.T.A. The school also offers physical training, value education, art and craft, environmental studies and social service.
Free coaching for hockey and basketball is provided. The school’s students have won several tournaments in games such as badminton, swimming, rowing, skating and gymnastics.

Catholic students are given preference, after which other communities are considered. Students are admitted in class I. Students seeking admission from the primary section to the secondary section, i.e. from class IV to V need to qualify on the basis of merit.
St. Anne’s High School, Pune has been scoring cent percent result in the 10th standard SSC exam for the past 3 years successively.
Other notable achievements include success at district and state level hockey championships and remarkable performances at the ‘Bournvita Quiz’ and ‘Limca Quiz’ contests. The school has produced international and national level champions in badminton, rowing, skating, swimming, table tennis, music, and gymnastics.
The school is ranked among the top girls day schools in India by the EducationWorld India School Rankings 2020-21.
