Established in 1941, St Columba’s School, Delhi, is an all boys day school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) since 1991. Founded by the Christian Brothers, the school offers education from kindergarten to class XII. The school offers facilities for remedial and special education in the junior and middle school sections, for those who are differently abled.
St. Columba’s School was also one of the first schools in Delhi to introduce computer education, and now uses Educomp smart class. The school aims to awaken the social conscience of students, and focuses on realizing a student’s potential. To this end, the faculty strives to build relationships of mutual respect with students.
The St. Columba’s School spans over seven acres in Delhi. The school’s ‘Edmund Rice Hall’ building, also known as the ERH, is a massive building that houses various classrooms, labs, a library, and indoor basketball and badmintons courts. The building also has an amphitheatre with a seating capacity of 2000 people. The classrooms use the Educomp smart class system.
The school also provides a large playground, a football field, tennis courts and a swimming pool.

Emphasis is placed on academic excellence at all levels. ICT (information and communication technology) is used to make education effective. Classrooms are equipped with multimedia for enjoyable learning. The classrooms use the Educomp smart class system. The objective of St Columba’s School is to provide an atmosphere to promote social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual growth of the child.
Extracurricular activities
At the middle level, students are empowered through representative councils and democratically selected prefects to monitor students, to maintain a high level of discipline.
Apart from regular classroom studies, students are also taken on outdoor excursions. Regular workshops and seminars, as well as in-house orientation programs are also organised.
The school conducts year-round activities for students at all levels including music fests, socials, swimming competitions, craft competitions, elocution contests etc. Every August, St. Columba’s School organizes an ‘Open Quiz’ inviting participation from hundreds of students from various schools.
Personal and educational counseling is provided to students of the junior and middle sections, whereas, the senior division is helped with career counseling sessions.

Admission forms for kindergarten are usually issued in the first week of January from 9-12 a.m. at the Senior School Building. Boys between 4 and 5 years as on 31st March can apply. The cost of the form is Rs. 25/-
