St. Francis English Medium School, Machilipatnam is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. Named after St. Francis of Assisi, the school was founded in 1979 by Late Father Mathew Kalpakacherry with 69 children. The school adopted ICSE curriculum in 1989 and become the first and the only ICSE school in Machilipatnam. The school offers education from kindergarten to class X.
The school campus hosts spacious classrooms, a well stocked library, labs for science and computers and a huge playground with facilities for various games such as cricket, football, hockey, kho-kho, kabaddi, athletics and volleyball.
The school follows the ICSE curriculum and offers classes from kindergarten to class X. According to the school, its high quality education, a dedicated faculty and well equipped infrastructure has helped it become the most popular school in Machilipatnam. Apart from regular academics, the school encourages extracurricular activities such as speech, recitation, storytelling, handwriting, maths quiz and science quiz, among others.
