St. Michael’s Senior Secondary School, New Delhi is a Christian minority school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. It is a coeducational day school that offers classes from preschool through the senior secondary level. It was set up in 1980 based on the vision of the late Archbishop Angelo Fernandes and with the assistance of his vicar Rev. Fr. Ireneus Santos. It is currently managed by the Delhi Catholic Archdiocese.
The school boasts a Sahoday System of Education. This system subscribes to learning that enables all citizens in “Rising Together” regardless of their economic background and aims to maintain a system of education where rich and poor learn side by side. Though this school is meant primarily for the members of the Catholic Community, it is open to the members of other communities too.

Usually the admissions take place only in the beginning of the academic year at St. Michael’s Senior Secondary School, Delhi. An entrance test in languages, Mathematics and Science is conducted; all applicants above the pre-school level are required to write the test. No test or interview is conducted for preschool admissions. For preschool admissions, only practising Roman Catholic candidates registered under Prasad Nagar Parish Zone will have preference in admission. Next preference will be given to other practising Christian denomination candidates residing within 0 to 3 km distance from the school. For all Christian denominations including Catholics, both the parents should be practising Christians to avail the points under Christian category.
A deposit of Rs 200 has to be made at the time of application. Separate registration forms for admission into the preschool and rest of the classes are available on the school website. Progress report of the child indicating his/her academic performance and participation in co-curricular activities from the school last attended needs to be submitted along with Transfer Certificate at the time of application. The TC should be countersigned by the Education Officer of the place (especially those who seek admission from outside NCT Delhi).

St. Michael’s Senior Secondary School, Delhi bagged the Best Hygienic School of the Year Award during the Afro-Asian Cleanliness Convention 2016.
The school was ranked number one for conducting co-curricular activities in school by Education Today. Many students and teams from the school have bagged laurels at several regional sports events.
