St. Stanislaus High School, Mumbai, is an all boys’ day school affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and offers its Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam at the end of class X. It was established in 1863 as an orphanage, but later transformed into a full-fledged class I-X school. The school is managed by the Father and Brothers of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), known for their educational work worldwide.
St. Stanislaus High School is spread across 7 acres of land in the heart of Mumbai city, in Bandra. The school has 2,500 students on roll with 82 teachers, and its education philosophy is based on the SIPS framework – Social, Intellectual, and Personal and Spiritual development.
St. Stanislaus High School is spread across seven acres of land in Bandra, Mumbai. The school maintains two libraries for its primary and secondary school students. It has two reading rooms for the students of class V to X with a good selection of resource books and journals.
The school has its own museum, known as the Fr. Casale Museum, in which coins, stamps, and specimens related to geography and history are displayed. The school has two computer labs, equipped with new generation technology and hardware. The ratio of 2:1 is followed in the computer labs.
The gymnasium provides state-of-the-art equipment. A hockey turf ground is maintained and named after Fr. Donnelly S.J., who represented the nation in hockey. The school also has a basketball court and nets for cricket.
The St. Stanislaus High School Chess Club trains the students at beginner, intermediates and advanced levels. The chess clubs allow its students to participate in competitions at school and state levels.
St. Stanislaus High School is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and offers its Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam at the end of class X. Hindi and Marathi are compulsory subjects for classes from V to X. The students of classes V to X can appear for Prathmik, Parambhik, and Pravesh (Language) Examinations.
Teachers use multimedia learning facilities.
Extracurricular
The school encourages its students to play hockey, basketball, football, badminton, volley ball, table tennis, cricket and chess. Students are also encouraged to participate in dancing, singing dramatics and swimming. The school organizes elocution competitions for its students.
The Nature Club organizes a number of activities like nature walks, film shows, bird-watching and plant study.
Students can also join NCC, Scouts and social service activities.

The age eligibility for admission in class I is completion of five years as on 15 June. Students joining higher classes need a Leaving Certificate from the previous school.
St. Stanislaus High School, Mumbai is ranked among the top 20 boys day schools in India by the EducationWorld India School Rankings 2020-21.
The school hockey team participates in the Ahmed Sailor, Agha Khan Cup, St. Andrew’s League and Oliver Andrade tournaments. School students have won several inter-school football competitions.
Recently St. Stanislaus High School emerged as champions in the 119th MSSA Annual Inter-school athletic championship at the Goregaon Sports Club.
