Established in 2003, The Strawberry Fields World School (SFWS) is a co-educational day school offering education from kindergarten to class XII. Located on a five acre campus, the school is sited at sector 26, Chandigarh amidst a picturesque backdrop. The school was promoted under the aegis of Durga Das Foundation, a non-profit and philanthropic organization.

It helps children discover their gifts and talents, helping them connect better to the world around them. It inspires and equips them to be responsible and compassionate world citizens.”
The 5 acre school campus hosts spacious and well ventilated classrooms, a well stocked library offering a wide collection of books, journals and CD-ROMs, well equipped science and computer laboratories designed to provide practical exposure to students, and an open air theatre for various activities and events.
Sports facilities include fields for football and cricket, tennis and basket ball courts and a swimming pool. The school campus also houses an art centre for learning various art forms such as painting, pottery, sculpture, puppetry and printing.
SFWS is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), New Delhi and it offers classes from lower kindergarten through class XII. The school academic year commences in April and ends in March. Class V onwards, the main subjects taught includes English, mathematics, Hindi, social sciences and environmental studies. Students also get opportunity to study French as their third language.
Extracurricular: The school promotes extracurricular activities such as music, dance, art, drama, pottery, sculpture, puppetry, physical education and sports.

Admission registration forms for general category students can be downloaded from school website and for EWS (economically weaker section) the forms can be procured from the school office. The duly filled forms must be submitted to the school office within the stipulated date. 25% seats are reserved for EWS category. A child seeking admission to lower kindergarten should have completed 4 years of age. Admission to other classes is subject to vacancies.
Fees:
At SFWS, the admission fee is Rs 80,000 and it is non-refundable. For junior classes, the annual tuition fee is Rs 64,000 and for middle and high school, the annual tuition fee is Rs 70,000.
