The Student Tribe’s meet brought together over 1,500 students from 60 colleges to connect, learn, and gain inspiration. The highlight of the gathering was the presentation of the Rs. 50,000 Diya Scholarship to Ashwini, a dedicated student determined to continue her education despite financial challenges. This scholarship, named in memory of Diya—a former intern who passed due to a medical error—aims to support ambitious young women in similar situations.
Beyond the scholarship, Student Tribe meet offered students access to live internships and exciting giveaways, including a smartphone and Skillshare subscriptions. The event featured guest speakers like the team from the movie “Pottel,” Fountane’s founder Aditya Siripragada, and digital creator Jasti, all sharing valuable insights. They encouraged students to remain resilient and dedicated in their educational pursuits.
Sri Charan Lakkaraju, Founder & CEO of Student Tribe, emphasized the scholarship’s purpose and the importance of providing ongoing support for talented students facing financial obstacles. He announced plans to grow the Diya Scholarship by increasing funding and awarding at least 33 scholarships per quarter to ensure that more students can pursue their educational goals.
Ashwini, the scholarship recipient, expressed deep gratitude, saying that the support allows her to focus on her studies without financial stress. Student Tribe invites students to apply for the Diya Scholarship and benefit from this meaningful initiative, created to foster academic success despite challenging circumstances.
