Psych-ED, conceptualised and organised annually by Fortis Healthcare, aims to ignite curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and foster awareness about the importance of psychology and mental health among school students. Over the years, it has steadily grown to become the largest psychology quiz in India, engaging students in stimulating rounds of quizzing, research-based problem solving, and applied psychological concepts.
This year’s competition was supported by GD Goenka University, Project CACA, Rupa Publications and Adayu (a Fortis Group company).
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ashutosh Raghuvanshi, managing director and CEO, Fortis Healthcare, said:
“Psych-ED has been a unique initiative that has pushed forward our vision of greater awareness and sensitisation towards mental health. It reflects Fortis’ commitment to raising awareness from school years.”
Adding to this, Dr. Samir Parikh remarked:
“Mental health is a lesser discussed subject. Through Psych-ED, we are engaging with young people and creating a unique way of building understanding of psychology and mental health.”
