Sunstone Education Technology Private Limited and PhysicsWallah (PW) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch Samvedna, a mental wellness programme aimed at strengthening student support across Sunstone campuses.
The initiative integrates mental wellness into Sunstone’s student success framework, focusing on academic progress alongside emotional resilience. Under the collaboration, PW will provide a team of full-time counselling psychologists to conduct confidential one-on-one and group counselling, sensitisation workshops, anti-ragging sessions and mental health awareness activities.
The programme will also include a dedicated helpline supported by case management systems and access to psychiatric intervention for high-risk cases. A joint Samvedna Committee, with members from both organisations, will monitor operations, review monthly reports and manage escalations.
Ashish Munjal, Co-Founder and CEO of Sunstone, said the programme ensures students receive timely professional support throughout their academic journey. PW Co-founder and CEO Alakh Pandey said the initiative connects academic progress with mental well-being through proactive outreach and real-time intervention.
Samvedna aims to establish a structured model for student care within higher education institutions.
