Freedom is synonymous with the dignity of the human spirit. India’s impressive economic growth has ignited hopes of attaining developed country status by 2047. Education is the force that will drive this dream. Sri Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka is a modern, futuristic system of education that draws strength from tradition and culture, based on an ever-evolving pedagogical process. Mr. Sailander Solanki, SVIS Chairman, believes that independence is not an isolated concept; it exists within a web of relationships and responsibilities.
All Indians are members of a large global family. While working and growing together, we must know how to respect and safeguard our freedom and make democracy work for the upliftment of all. SVIS believes—and would like everyone to recognize—that peace and interdependence among nations are prerequisites for the survival of mankind and nature.
By embracing our interconnectedness and acting with compassion and responsibility, we can honor the sacrifices of our veterans who fought for our freedom and work toward a more inclusive and sustainable future. SVIS recently organized ‘Tagda,’ an event to honor army veteran and former Major General G. D. Bakshi, SM, VSM. He recounted tales of bravery and courage of Indian soldiers, filling the audience with patriotic zeal. A group of young children tied Rakhi around his wrist, reposing faith and conviction in the soldiers who guard the nation and its people.
The school is a happy space that continues to empower young minds with myriad opportunities and is thus called a place where dreams come true.
