Manipal based T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), one of India’s premier B-schools, has recently earned the Association of MBAs (AMBA) accreditation for a period of three years. TAPMI is already among the handful business schools in the top quartile that has been accorded the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation.
The double accreditation of AMBA and AACSB has propelled TAPMI to an elite club of five eminent business schools of India. TAPMI has received the AMBA accreditation for all its existing PGDM programmes – PGDM, PGDM-BKFS and PGDM – HR.
“The accolade is a testimony of the tireless efforts of our faculty to provide a cutting-edge curriculum and a stimulating student- centred environment. This pursuit of excellence, coupled with the success of our students, inspires us to work towards greater heights and remain ahead of the curve,” said Professor Madhu Veeraraghavan, director, TAPMI.
AMBA accredits programmes from only the top 2 percent of business schools across 70 countries and in India, only 12 institutions have received this mark of excellence.
“We believe that AMBA accreditation is a validation of TAPMI’s quality and rigor in designing and delivering. But accreditation is not an end in itself. To us, it is a milestone in our journey of continuous improvement. As a member of the best schools globally, we will have an opportunity to benchmark and raise our standards,” said Prof Simon George, dean-academics, TAPMI.
In addition to the AMBA and the AACSB accreditation, TAPMI’s programs are approved by the All India Council Technical Education (AICTE), the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
