According to an official release on March 16, Tata ClassEdge, an integrated learning solution for schools, has now launched a first of its kind solution in India – ClassEdge Connect, a platform that connects teachers across different campuses within the same group of schools. ClassEdge Connect enables teachers to exchange teaching resources such as multimedia presentations, test papers, quiz questions and worksheets with each other. The innovative solution effectively addresses the challenge faced by the management of large group schools to get their teachers spread across different campuses, either within the same state or across states, to share best practices on teaching and learning with each other.
“When teachers start sharing resources, ideas and best practices among each other, it is bound to enrich the teaching experience in every school within the group. ClassEdge Connect, our latest collaborative platform for teachers, allows schools to leverage the collective wisdom of the entire group of schools,” said Nirav Khambhati, CEO, Tata ClassEdge.
ClassEdge Connect helps schools create a virtual academic network (VAN), which allows teachers to create and share knowledge resources across schools. One of its most prominent features is its ability to provide centralised reporting of information and communications technology (ICT) usage across schools. The group management and principals of each school can have access to real-time ICT usage for all classrooms across schools within the group.
