The Mancherial district police have filed a case against a school correspondent and principal in Kannepalli village, approximately 250 km away. They allegedly objected to students wearing ‘Hanuman Deeksha dress’ to the school. The Dandepally police acted upon a complaint from the parents, charging the officials under sections 153 (A) and 295 (A) for promoting enmity between different groups and insulting religious sentiments, respectively.

The management of Blessed Mother Teresa High School clarified that the principal had asked students to bring their parents after noticing them wearing saffron attire instead of the school uniform. Subsequently, a group demanded an apology from the school management. On Tuesday, angry protestors reportedly vandalized the school windows and demanded an apology from the correspondent.
