Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed officials to make necessary arrangements for conducting classes for classes 9 to 12 from February 1. He has also asked to put all arrangements in place for administering Covid-19 vaccination in the state immediately.
The government has also issued guidelines before the reopening of schools and colleges including all classrooms, teaching and demonstration work areas like laboratories shall be sanitized with 1 percent sodium hypochlorite solution, with special attention to the regularly touched surfaces.
Besides, students, teachers, and non-teaching staff must wear facemasks and have to keep washing their hands at regular intervals. The body temperature of all will be checked through thermal scanning.
Students with symptoms of cold, cough will have to leave the school immediately, whenever detected. A minimum of 6 feet distance has to be maintained in school premises and sanitizers are to be installed at the entrance of the schools.
