The Assam Valley School, Balipara is a co-ed boarding school affiliated with The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Sited on a 270 acres campus situated amidst the tea-gardens of Assam’s Sonitpur district, the Assam Valley School features an expansive green campus combining its pastoral environment with its state-of-the-art infrastructure.
Facilities include well-equipped labs for biology, biotech, chemistry, physics, and computer. The campus also has a craft and design centre (CDT) and a well-stocked library.

Affiliated with the Council for the Indian School certificate examination, AVS offers sixty-four activities/disciplines each academic year that students are encouraged to participate in. Students also have the opportunity to showcase their talents by participating in the numerous inter and intra-school activities the school organizes. A new Specialization Programme has been initiated which will provide the students with extra time and training to hone their skills in Art, Craft Design & Technology (CDT), Music, Dance, Debating, Theatre and Quizzing.

For admission into Assam Valley School, all prospective parents are expected to register their wards for the Entrance Test. Any student from an English Medium School of any Board can register for the Entrance Test. The age chart for registration of applicants (applying for classes V-IX) must be strictly adhered to:

For admission to class XI, the applicants must be from an English Medium School and must have appeared for and passed class 10 examination from a recognized International/National/State Board.
