The Frank Anthony Public School (FAPS), Bangalore, is a coeducational day school affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), Delhi. Founded by Anglo-Indian educationist and parliamentarian, Frank Anthony in 1967, the school is one of the three Frank Anthony Public Schools in India. The school offers education from nursery to class XII and has student strength of 2,000. The school’s motto is “Courage is Destiny.”
The school’s band and choir are popular in the city, and FAPS students have won several sports competitions.
The school building has four floors that house spacious classrooms and large and well equipped laboratory-cum-lecture rooms for physics, chemistry and biology. The school also has a computer laboratory and a well stocked library with a special section for audio-visual teaching aids.
The sports infrastructure includes courts for basketball, volleyball and throwball, football and hockey fields, and a well-maintained cricket pitch. There is a swimming pool and lawn tennis court too on campus.

Audio-visual aids, televisions, VCDs and computers are used in teaching. Each class has its own library, apart from the general library. This encourages students to explore topics related to their curriculum. Teachers give individual attention to students.
Students of classes 11 and 12 can choose from three streams:
Science – English, physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology/computer applications
Commerce – English, commerce, accounts, economics, sociology/second language)
Humanities – English, literature in English, second language, history, sociology, political science
Extracurricular
Extra-curricular activities include dramatics, debating, elocution, declamation, school band, choir and quizzing. Students have the opportunity to compete in inter-house or inter-school events. The school also provides National Cadet Corps (Army Wing) Training for seniors while the juniors can join the Scouts and Guides or Cubs and Bulbuls.
Coaching is provided in cricket, basketball, football, hockey, throwball, swimming, lawn tennis, athletics, karate and volleyball.

Admission forms are issued at the school in early February and age eligibility of children for admissions to nursery is four years as on June 1.
