The Green School Bangalore (TGSB), recognized for its commitment to sustainability and innovative education, recently held its much-anticipated annual concert. This year’s performance, titled “Three Tales with a Twist,” uniquely combined elements from three classic stories: “Mary Poppins,” “The Wizard of Oz,” and “Fiddler on the Roof.” Noteworthy for its environmentally conscious approach, the musical featured sets created from sustainable materials such as bamboo and repurposed wood.

The event also marked the launch of India’s first School of Cinema, introduced on the TGSB campus by renowned filmmaker Rajendra Babu Singh. This new facility aims to offer students a comprehensive, multisensory learning experience designed to enhance their creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills. The incorporation of film studies into the curriculum is expected to provide students with practical skills and a deeper understanding of the cinematic arts.

During the event, Chief Guest Shri Sharath Bache Gowda, MLA Hosakote, praised the performers and organizers for their exceptional talent and dedication. He emphasized the importance of fostering cultural heritage through innovative artistic expressions. The ceremony was attended by several distinguished figures, including Mr. Punati Shridhar, IFS; Mr. Ajit Acharya, Chairman of VDM India on the Move; Mr. Pramod Srinivas, Director of NPS-Gunjur & Varthur; and Mr. Pruthvi Banwasi, Educator, Actor, and Entrepreneur.
